Quick fixes for the most common issues opening a Belii shop.
"Security certificate" warning when opening from Instagram
Belii uses a valid HTTPS certificate. If you see a security warning, it's almost always something on the phone or network. Try these in order — one of them fixes it in seconds:
- Open the link in your normal browser. In Instagram, tap the ⋯ menu (top right) and choose Open in external browser (Safari or Chrome).
- Check your phone's date & time. Go to Settings → General → Date & Time (iPhone) or Settings → System → Date & Time (Android) and turn on Set automatically. A wrong clock makes every secure site look "untrusted".
- Turn off any VPN, ad-blocker or "security" app (e.g. Kaspersky, ESET, school/work Wi-Fi filters). They often intercept secure connections.
- Switch network. If you're on public Wi-Fi, try mobile data — or the other way around.
- Update your phone. Older OS versions can be missing the certificate authorities used by modern sites.
Still stuck? Email support@belii.app with a screenshot of the warning and your phone model — that tells us immediately what's going on.
